Compared to the parallel tasted RX930 clearly more accessible, here the lower alcohol content pays off times properly.The Bristol Cuban is a typical representative of the Destilería "Paraíso", light and fluffy and wonderfully fragrant and tasting of apple and pear.An ideal companion for a lively evening and quite offerable to friends who otherwise have nothing to do with rum.I would probably prefer the rum with 5-10% more alcohol, if he would bring the same flavors so beautifully to the fore, but he is also so a pleasant rum with recognition value.

Edit: again on the Village'25 and the finish is now too dominant for me. Good digestible rum, the low ABV makes it a nice sipper. I miss the complexity a little. It's nice, but not outstanding, but still very good for in between. I felt the same way about this one as I did about the Plantation bottling. Actually intended as a mixer, but surprised that you can also enjoy it neat.

The finish works quite well here but also dominates the profile. Intensity is pretty good given the low ABV, however, the finish adds a lot of sweetness. While the sherry is dominating, adding red fruits and a smooth mouthfeels, the profile is not overly complex.
