It’s great, but it should have been even better with a little bit higher ABV. But it will anyway have a unthreatened place at my Spanish styled shelf. Aromas is sweet and woody with hints of vanilla. The flavors is rather sweet and round with a distinct taste from the whisky finish.

Certainly not a rum for everyone and probably not for rum beginners. Meanwhile, I have 25 different rums with very different taste directions.this rum stands out very strongly from all others. Who likes rum and whiskey, should get this special rum (in my collection the most expensive copy so far).

This is a retasting and I'll leave the old comment and change the points 😊 This is a malt finish og their normal 25 and you definitely get the barrel finish. The nose is sharp in the beginning so leave if for 15 minutes ad you get rewarded with fruits, vanilla and caramel. There is a bit of earthiness about it. The palate is mild and well rounded with a lot of tropical fruits, berries and grapes topped with vanilla and oak. The finish is medium to long with a sweet stickiness followed by fruit, cocoa and caramel.

Degusté au Spirits Days à Tournai, notes rapides : Nez : gourmand, très équilibré, mais ou est passé le whisky ? Bouche : pareil, c'est sympa mais simple, et sans whisky. Bref : peu d'intérêt, encore un solera sans +.

Ein sehr leckerer Opthimus von Oliver und Oliver. Im Geschmack schön Noten von Karamell und Toffe zu erkennen. Sehr leicht und lecker im Abgang. Schön intensiv. Interessanter Rum der durchaus zu empfehlen ist.

Deeper notes on the nose and palate, with clear expression of the malt. Palate is creamy, chocolatey, with notes of coffee/espresso. Deeper notes are balanced by sweetness. Finish is gradual and smooth, tending towards slightly bitter/acrid.
