This version has been finished in whisky casks giving it a very nice touch of whisky especially in the finish. Better than the other 25's from Opthimus and far more refined in the taste.

Quite nice for a rum this sweet. A few years later and not bad for a sweet rum.

A very easy drinking rum with a not particularly complex but pleasant taste. On the nose there are immediate notes of raisins, followed by pleasant notes of malt and crème brulé. On the palate the raisins return again accompanied by malt and dark chocolate. You can feel the alcoholic note despite only 43° abv. The finish is sweet and velvety not particularly long.
