Meine RumRatings Review von vor 6 Jahren: Edit 2026: diese Abfüllung war mein Umstieg auf Single Cask Abfüllungen ohne Zusatzstoffe etc. Den Moment als ich die Flasche geöffnet habe und erste Mal in der Nase hatte werde ich nie vergessen. Hat ein neues Kapitel in meiner Rum Reise aufgeschlagen. War eine tolle Zeit. Schon ist der Nase ist der Artesano wunderbar. Sehr fruchtige Noten von Beeren machen in zu einem Erlebnis und es lohnt sich den Rum erstmal ausgiebig mit der Nase zu erforschen. Beim Trinken zeigt sich sofort eine Komplexität aus süßen fruchtigen Noten von roten Beeren, etwas Mokka und eine schöne holzige Fassnote. Die gut ausbalanciert Schärfe erinnert daran das es sich um keinen süßen Rum handelt, sondern das er lebhaft eckig ist und einen eigenen Charakter bietet. Der Abgang ist langanhaltend und geprägt durch holzige Fassnoten welche deutlich signalisiert das der Rum in Erinnerung bleiben möchte. Für mich bringt der El Ron del Artesano alles mit was ich von einem Rum erwarte. Das Recioto Finish ist absolut gelungen und der in Handarbeit erzeugte Rum ist ein Statement für das Handwerk der Rumherstellung. Für Freunde des trockenen Rums ist er ein Muss da er ohne Zusatzstoffe auskommt und trotzdem vollmundig und lebendig ist. Er hat mich sehr überzeugt. Klare Kaufempfehlung, vor allem da er streng limitiert ist. Wer es noch intensiver mag sollte die Fassstärke dieses Rums probieren.

Nicht gesüßt und ohne Zusatzstoffe. Wunderbar! Unglaublich rund und ausgewogen. Keine Schärfe. Fast schon zu rund.
