There's oak, cinnamon and mace, red fruit and a cool menthol touch on the finish, plus an odd plastic-glue note a couple of people flagged. At 52.8% it stays balanced and rounded, more spice-and-wood than tropical.

Yet another nice Bielle, unfortunately it's a rather rare bottle which makes the price go through the roof. The quality is really good but doesn't match the 500 euro+price tag. The nose is wonderful and fruity with spices. In the back there is a light wood note with a hint of nuts. The palate is lightly woody with fruits and spices. The palate is also warm and well balanced with a peppery note and nougat hidden in the back. The finish is medium to long with light wood and lovely fruits. There is a nice balance in spices and a nice refreshing menthol touch. A very good rum but the price is a bit off.

Da DHL ja was weiß ich mit meinem Paket macht, hier drauf erstmal einen echt super Bielle. Hat alles was man von einem super Agricole erwartet, leichte Süße (Vanille, Karamell etc.), aber auch schön holzig und würzig. Stark 💪

Tasted at Bar1802. Sugarcane, brioche, complex citrus aromas, perfect wood maturation, spice. A very fine, very well-balanced Bielle. Perfect balance and nicely smooth. Great for sipping, and it goes down quickly too. 🤣🤣

Cooler Bielle mit Prominenten Noten von Lakritze, Nougat, Gewürzen (Zimt, Macis) und Leder. ABV ist angenehm und passt meines Erachtens gut. Preis ist jetzt nicht unbedingt der Beste, aber lecker ist er schon.

Ein etwas untypischer Bielle, bei dem die klassischen Agricole-Marker im Hintergrund stehen. Vermutlich durch das intensive Fass schmeckt man diverse Gewürze und Lakritze. Insgesamt zwar untypisch, aber dennoch lecker :)

Somewhat confusing notes - Bielle meets salty licorice and plastic. Stands out from the Bielle range, the licorice certainly has its charm in combination with wood and subtle notes of fresh fruit and spices - but the plastic note does seem a little strange.

Nach den ganzen bielle Velier 2001 ist dieser sehr untypisch. Vielleicht liegt es an dem von Cognac Fass. Kaum tropische Noten, eher würzig, citrus Noten, Holz, Nuss, Armagnac.

Very beautiful rum from Bielle, really very elegant and surprising for a Bielle which, I usually find, is full-bodied and has a strong character. A great product from Marie-Galante with finesse and a nice roundness. One of my favorites from the past few weeks.
