Heute ein paar Rums von Rum Paradise, aber alles nur unterer Durschnitt. Diesen hier hätte ich schlechter erwartet, bin daher etwas überrascht. Die Nase ist sehr rauchig, aber auch schwarzer Pfeffer und Lösungsmittel sind erkennbar. Am Gaumen sehr medizinisch und auch schwarzer Pfeffer.

A very smoky nose for what I was expecting. There's still a solvent note similar to the Carta Blanca but it is definitely in another league. The palate has a good amount of brown sugar, citrus and dried fruits but there's a medicinal note that covers all and I'm not a big fan of it. The finish finally loses the medicinal notes with toffee and pepper remaining. It's definitely better neat than Carta Blanca but it's still far from my favourite white rum.

Noten von Honigmelone, ein ganz klein wenig Banane und nussigen Noten von Mandeln und Marzipan. Am Gaumen spätestens erkennt man die Fasslagerung, mit voller Vanille, leichtem Karamell und einer Prise Zimt. Und sollte man nur für cocktails benutzen nicht pur trinken
