One taster called it "un petit punch à lui tout seul" — a white agricole loud enough to carry a ti-punch on its own. Expect sugarcane up front, floral and lemon-citrus notes, a menthol-fresh edge and a salty, iodine twist several people mention. At 50% it drinks hot and dry, with a peppery, earthy finish. Fun, but a few found it rough and thought better whites exist here.

Dégustation à l'aveugle : Premier nez, une eau-de-vie de fruits, surement de prune, étonnant ! Mais ça se dissipe vite, un profil plus orienté canne à sucre, gourmandise, fraicheur, de légères traces d’anis, de menthol, et de petites notes salines. Il me fait très vite penser à la dégustation récente de Chantal Compte « Figthing Spirit », et la gourmandise/fraicheur m’orientent vers les purs jus de canne de l’Ile Maurice. En bouche, de la canne, des agrumes, du citron vert, aucun doute, c’est un pur jus, surement agricole. Meme si cette gourmandise et l’impression de fraicheur mentholée sont un peu hors cadre pour la Martinique, pourquoi pas ? La chauffe est moyenne, surement 52° (je suis assez mauvais sur ce type de devinette, mon palais fait assez peu de différence entre 50 et 60…). Une finale avec un léger poivre, des agrumes, quelques notes florales, et au fond du verre, un peu de poire. J’apprécie beaucoup, et je reste sur ma première idée. Mon idée : Chantal Compte « Figthing Spirit Green Lagoon », Ile Maurice, que j’imagine à 52°. * Roulement de tambours * >>> Chantal Compte « Figthing Spirit Gold », Martinique, 50% NB : je comprends que le prix puisse refroidir, mais quand je vois ce rhum noté 7.5/10, c'est quand même étonnant ! M'enfin, l'Ile Maurice de la meme série est encore meilleur ;)

Mon échantillon n’était pas bon, brûlant, sec, franchement désagréable. A regoûter peut-être, mais je n’en n’ai pas envie. Remarquable en pâtisserie, après avoir testé.

FFS fruité floral salé un bon blanc mais pour le prix il y a mieux ! Le palais de Chantal Comte fait des merveilles sur les rhums vieux ses sélections comptes parmi les meilleurs bdf qu’on peut goûter les rhums sont tout simplement orgasmique pour les blancs mon cousin richard avec tous les ti punchs qu’il se tape ferais peut-être mieux !

Rhum blanc très puissant et alcooleux pour un 50%vol. Le nez est marqué sur le côté floral et sur le fruité. La canne à sucre s’impose au fur et à mesure avec un petit côté végétal sympathique. Avec repos, on trouve une pointe salée avec de l’iode. La bouche est identique au nez avec un côté végétal un peu plus marqué. La fin de bouche, marquée sur la puissance de l’alcool, s’ouvre enfin sur la canne à sucre, le miel, les épices et le salin avec ce côté iodée atypique.

Geil, Chantal Rum :-) aber echt ganz gutes Teil. Nase wirlklich sehr pflanzlich, Oliven etc. Am Gaumen dann auch Pflanze und viel Frucht. Rum ist echt nicht schlecht, gibt aber bessere in dieser Preiskategorie.
