Here's the surprise: at 47.1% you barely feel the alcohol. This is a Long Pond, Clarendon and Hampden blend, all pot still, four years old, and it's full of pineapple, banana and ripe tropical fruit with that classic glue-and-varnish ester edge. One taster called it "light but lovely," and that's fair — the reduction keeps it easy but makes the good part fade fast.

Very cool rum, despite the reduction, it has a very pleasant smell. Esters. Ripe fruits. In the mouth, no disappointment, it's warm, ripe, funky although a little too light.The reduction is well done but makes this pleasant sensation pass too quickly.Ideal for a first approach of Jamaican rum with a little bit of watts.Super exit that said. The value for money was excellent. impossible to find something as qualitative for forty euros today.

#4029 This is a very nice blend and the ABV is very hard to pick up. Kind of a light bot lovely profile. One of those rums where you can just sit and enjoy the nose. Fruity with a light medicinal and some glue notes. The overall profile i would categorise as light but lovely. Draws nice curtains in the glass.

Jamaican Blend (Long Pond - Clarendon and Hampden) at 47.1%. 4 years old rum. We take a lot of Ester in the nose. It is fruity as we like it for a Jamaican. It is greedy. Very nice nose representing perfectly its origins! In mouth it is nicer, but we have a very beautiful length on the orange. Well balanced. Basically, beautiful work of assembly and reduction to lay us this blend. I find it perfect to launch into the Jamaican 💪. And in addition the packaging is really cool. Well done Old Brothers with this blend.

A blended Jamaican rum from Old Brothers, LPCH a blend of Long Pond (43.15%) Clarendon (43.15%) and Hampden (13.70%). All parts were 100% pot distilled and aged 4 years The nosing of this reveals the notes of Jamaica we all know from a pot still ... It's a very young rum but the long pond of the dried fruit , vanilla and ginger .. The tasting .Then Clarendon then comes with pineapple and wood smoke then delighted with the Hampden that I adore as a brand ... The only 4ging that lets this down in the blend is the age . This has quite a whiskey finish which may again link to the age of the blend
