This Dillon Magnum is the latest version of Magnum’s. Some says it’s 9yo, but on the back label it says 10yo. Overall an aromatic and complex rum with aromas and flavors of fruit, spices, oak, cigars, rubber and more.

#6226 11.01.2026 First online tasting of 2026 with a few of the guys. Thank you Jens Ole for arranging all the samples! Nose Light wood, light plum dried fruit, light caramel, faint chocolate, cinnamon, light earthy. Palate Round, light wood, balanced, cinnamon, light chocolate, light coffee, dried fruit, light sugarcane. Finish Long, medium dry, light wood, dried fruit, light plum, light vanilla, faint cinnamon. Empty glass vanilla, chocolate, light caramel, figs, light coffee, light perfume. This sample comes from a bottle that has been half full for a very long time so the flavours may be either better or worse than at first opened!

Nase, Gaumen und Abgang gestalten sich sehr abwechslungsreich. Die Nase ist intensiv und rund, typisch Agricole mit nussigen und pflanzlichen Noten. Etwas dünn und süß wirkt der Rum im Mund. Im Abgang dann wieder lecker mit Holz und Kirsche.

Well, what can you say????? I like this rum, it tastes really good of chocolate and sugar cane... It's just a normal rum from Martinique without great expectations. In any case, you can't go wrong with it.

Schöner Daily Sipper mit einen tollen Touch von Holz, getrockneten Früchten und ei Hauch Schokolade. Mundgefühl leicht trocken aber schon sehr fruchtig mit Power vom Fass. Alkohol ist ok eingebunden.
