Bottle Market Bremen October 2024. This Rum Nation is really better than expected. Nose slightly sweet, vanilla and chocolate mainly. Also slightly sweet on the palate with chocolate and cocoa. But otherwise really great.

Special rum. I can smell the medicinal herb very much. Some would say it tastes like a doctor's disinfectant (meaning the taste of medical herbs)

A soft taste - not at all too sharp or too bold - taste of chocolate, candied orange and orange liqueur. Dried figs and mixed tropical fruits. The aftertaste is slightly peppery in contrast to the softness. Moderate sweetness and lightness. Very pleasant to drink.

On The Rocks: On the nose it has mild fruit, floral, oak and sweet notes. Taste has an immediate alcoholic hit with immediate slight burn giving way to a pleasant sweetness that persists with underlying charred oak with a slight bitterness. This is a very interesting rum that is very enjoyable and different. There is definite complexity with a very long finish of sweetness and slight bitterness in the back of your throat. Mixed Pepsi Zero: On the nose mild fruit, floral and sweetness. Taste is sweet, more neutral between sweet with no real bitter notes with some charred oak notes. Not as enjoyable mixed and you lose some of the complexity. I would suggest this is a sipper only as nothing is gained from mixing it.

Egy abszolút kellemes, kerek, nem túl magas alkohol érzettel, lágy, nem túl édes, enyhén gyümölcsös mégis megtartva a rum íz jegyeket, DE ennyi pénzért én többet vártam. Ezt a fajta jelleget ennél olcsóbb rumoknál is megkapod, ezért a kicsit csalódás, mert amúgy egy nagyon finom rum, top kategória de mégis szerintem árban rosszul felcímkézett

Advent Calendar for my brother 2025 Vanilla, dried fruits, wood, leather, chocolate, brown sugar, hints of nuts on the nose. Needs a bit of time to open up. Chocolate, coffee, wood, leather, roasted, light bitterness on the palate. Not bad at all.
