Moon Import Remember
Most tasters land on the same read: a gentle Jamaican rather than a funk bomb. The nose leans herbal and medicinal with citrus, almond and a little sweetness; the palate turns lightly funky with white pepper, oak and tobacco that carries into a long, smoky finish. At 45% it drinks a touch hotter than the number suggests. Give it 15 minutes in the glass.

This is the 2019 "Remember" version. No Age. Well balanced stuff. Good waxy mouthfeel. Some oak. Probably Worthy Park or Hampden. A nice variant of a classic Jamaica rum. Easy sipper but well done. My bet is WP.

It doesn't always have to be Hampden. A wonderful fine Jamaican rum. No board banger à la Hampden or Long Pond. Light but fine Esther with beautiful fruit notes. Rather noble than brute. Some tobacco in the finish. Goes for the price absolutely fine.

Another OK rum from Moon Import this one the Jamaican version. It doesn't have as much funk as the Jamaican rums usually have, still not too bad though. The nose is herbal/medicinal with sweetness and citrus topped of with a bit of almond. The palate is a bit funky with white pepper and has both oak and nice tobacco to it. I boosted the flavours by eating some dark chocolate just before sipping a second time. The finish is long and has smoke and tobacco to it. Should be rested for at least 15 minutes to release its full potential.
