29.01.2022 The big Caroni tasting with old rum buddies, good food, snacks and a lot of talking about old times. Very similar to RX5133 Notes Dark in colour. Nose Round, wood, light smoke, fruity, banana, workshop, light mint, light leather. Palate Fresh, wood, light smoke, dried fruit, leather, mint, floral, workshop, medium dry. Finish Long, medium dry, wood, citrus, light chocolate.

Beautiful 1998 Caroni with a multi-layered aroma - in addition to the classic dirty HTR notes, tropical fruits, sweetness of caramel and vanilla, as well as tart spicy notes of barrel and allspice are recognizable here. Appealing complexity and balance.
