Al naso è delicato e soffice con note di legno, floreali, cioccolato, zucchero bruciato, frutti rossi acerbi e un poco di tabacco. Al palato è altrettanto delicato con sentori fioriti intensi in primo piano(violetta), poi vegetali, di pepe, tabacco, legno, frutta gialla e qualcosa di mielato e dolce (frutta secca) sul finale. Il tutto molto rotondo. Il profilo di gusto è in linea con altri millesimati della stessa decade. Nel bicchiere vuoto leggeri stagionati dolci.

Un rhum d’un autre temps On se projette dans le passé Il est très doux, on a des notes cacaotées, un peu de foin, terreux, tabac, et bien sur des notes boisées comme le fût de chêne. Ça me rappelle un peu la flibuste 1983 Expérience gustative très sympa Un très bon rhum d’époque !

Just finished this lovely bottle today. An old but still very good rum. Fruity ad gentle. Would have loved a bit higher ABV.
