Second sample on the ICE shortly before somewhere. Guyana again, again wonderfully matured, but today PM. Nose: aromatic, spicy-roasty with a nice, fresh, sour-sweet fruitiness, without renouncing the typical burnt notes. Pear, gooseberry and passion fruit with yellow lemon, plus a pleasant sweetness of honey and marzipan. Slightly peppery with nutmeg. Great, intense nose, despite the low %%. 8,9 Palate: elegant, intense and complex, despite the low ABV. Spicy and medicinal, with iodine and pencil lead, but very round. Intense sweetness of treacle, honey water and tonka bean, without being sweet. Goes in the direction of brioche. Burnt aromas go well with nutmeg. I like it very much. 8.9

freshly burnt hay, licorice, cardamom, pencil, ash, tangerine and pear on the nose. unfortunately, the taste is extremely bitter and medicinal with iodine ointment, burnt hay and wood, licorice water, lots of tannins, astringent, some green pepper, allspice and papaya. unfortunately, too thin and too bitter overall. too bad. Unfortunately, the iodine note in particular remains permanently intense and ruins a lot.

Initially very herbal on the nose with a slight sweetness and a hint of marzipan. On the palate rather woody-roasted and medicinal (iodine?). Just PM. Overall very tasty and drinkable, the finish remains long and astringent. With a little more proof, the taste would perhaps be even more intense, although the alcohol would then probably be too prominent. Overall a very good bottling.

A pretty light Port Mourant, on the nose peaches, hay and vanilla are the main traits I can find, plus a bit of the usual aniseed and wet wood. On the palate it is salty and with iodne, with vague fruit in the background before short finish. Interesting but lacking of strength
