CDI Tricorne
Opinions swing hard on this one: sip it neat and it reads sharp-edged and a bit plain, but drop it into a daiquiri and, as several tasters put it, it comes alive. It's a white blend of molasses, cane juice and Batavia arrack — fresh, grassy, floral, with a peppery arrack twist and a faint funky-savory edge some catch as ham or olives.
The community says- Great daiquiri base
- But: Sharp-edged neat
- But: Thin for some

Grassy arrack blend, born for daiquiris Loved as a mixing rum — many call it their go-to daiquiri base. Neat it splits people: fans find it clean and floral, others call it thin and an acquired taste.

Kneipe Whiskyplaza Hamburg Dezember 2025.

14.10.2018 Nice little get together with new rum friends. Notes. Transparent in colour. Nose: fresh, floral, citrus, fruity, light smoke. Palate: Intense, fresh, grass, spicy, light caramel, fruity. Finish: spicy, vegetal, floral, fruity.

A great blend that is quite unique thanks to the mix of sugar cane juice, molasses rums and Batavia Arrack. PLV is great and it goes really well in cocktails. Pure, however, rather so-so

Slight disappointment, I expected it to be more pronounced in smell and taste. But I was intrigued by the style of production - mixing molasses, loom and Batavia arrack

a white spirit, the taste is that of a white Rum Agrícol made with fresh sugar cane. So you can expect it tastes somehow similar to a fruit brandy, pisco, or Aguardente de Cana. This one however is very mild in taste with only minimal burning.

Tasted 08-05-2021 This is certainly one that I need to revisit as knowledge of what it could be used for . Nosing Blackberry and pineapple nuts Tasting Olives, long sweetness , grass and finished with chocolate

Excellent neat in a chilled glass and also as a T(r)i Punch 👍

A tiny hint of ham in otherwise super fresh, vegetal notes. Simultaneously pure and wickedly dirty. Relatively sharp-edged on its own, but as soon as it's mixed and given some sweetness and acidity, it blossoms. Together with Veritas, the spearhead when it comes to daiquiris. An absolute favorite and always in the house.
