El Salvador - Licorera Cihuatan Compagnie des Indes Distilled: 02.2007 Bottled: 11.2018 Aged 11 Years* 43% Cask A46 Bottle No. 314 of 415 Melasse Rum * auf dem Etikett steht 9 Jahre Farbe: Blassgold Geruch: Blumig und fruchtig, dabei mild und süß. Riecht nach Heu und Zuckerrohr. Geschmack: Wässrig, süß, mild, grün und unreif Grasig mit Heu, dabei leicht würzig (Pfeffer, Nelken). Etwas Holz. Abgang: Trocken, würzig und holzig mit Kräutern und Heu. Schwach bitterer Nachgeschmack, Fazit: Relativ nichtssagend und wenig überzeugend. Durchschnittlicher Rum. 79 Punkte

sehr schöne und unglaublich ungewöhnliche Nummer hier aus el Salvador von cihuatan. sowohl fast so rauchig wie junger Whisky als auch so floral und fruchtig wie ein agricole, dennoch eine schöne, cremige süße an dulce de leche erinnend die alles verbindet. wenn der jetzt ein paar % mehr hätte wäre gigantisch... mega komplex dafür! grüner Apfel, Haselnuss, Kamille, Salzkaramell, Sahnetoffee, rauchiges fass, Pfeffer etc... der kann was!
