This Agricole, from the Bellevue distillery, distilled in 2009 have been aged for a minimum of 7 years in former bourbon casks of American oak before reduced to ABV 42% and bottled. The year 2009 is said to have given a harvest of cane rich in sugar in Guadeloupe. Overall a very round Agricole, maybe too round. It would have been interesting to taste its brother at ABV 66,9% also aged for 7 years and from 2009.

Un nez léger avec du végétal, des fruits et du vernis. La bouche est elle aussi légère avec du fumé et des fruits en arrière-plan. La finale est courte, végétale. Un rhum bon mais sans grand caractère.
