Very intense bottling. Powerful spicy and woody notes on the nose, then on the palate the heavy Demerara sweetness paired with smoky spiciness turns the perception clearly towards Guyana. Aromatically diverse, an exciting release. A little more balance would have helped the rum to achieve an even higher rating, but even so it remains a very good rum.

Kraftvoller Demerara mit massivem Eichenfundament und einer tiefen Holzintensität, die aber nicht überwältigt. Leder- und Ledernoten treffen auf dunkles Leder und Espresso, während dunkle Gewürze und Lakritz Tiefe hinzufügen. Trotz 65 % Volumen wirkt er erstaunlich fokussiert, mit klarer Struktur und kernigem Charakter. Ein typischer Enmore mit rauer Eleganz aber mir persönlich viel zu viel Rauch.
