Bacardi Carta Fuego Superior Spiced Rum
One member calls it a "good mixing rum" and that's about the honest summary. Expect lots of vanilla and honey up front, some cinnamon and ginger, and a sweetness a few tasters find too gloopy. The alcoholic afternote gets flagged often, and the finish is short and watery. Fine in cola or juice, less convincing on its own.
The community says- Vanilla and honey
- Harsh afternote
- Very sweet

Aggregated from 46 community reviews.
Sweet, vanilla-heavy spiced mixer Opinions swing from "avoid it" to a happy summer sipper, but most land in the middle: sweet, vanilla-heavy and easy in cola, let down by a harsh, short finish.

Nice balanced but also sharp rum. Mix of sweetness, spice, peppery sharpness with a brown sugary after taste that stays quite some time. Not in a bad way tho, it’s actually Very nice start of a vacation trip.

6:On the nose, there is vanilla ice cream, coconut and caramel notes. Beneath this we get a spicy ginger, some cinnamon and a hint of white pepper, raisin bread dough, chocolate cherry bark, spicy banana bread and cheesecake. 6:On the palate there is a waxy caramel candy, vanilla, a bit bitter, some ginger, coconut, cinnamon, nutmeg, perhaps a bit peppery, sweeteners are felt, this rum is mild, rather smooth, with subtle notes of smokiness. 5,5:The finish is quite short, sweet, watery, spicy...

It's one of the cheaper ones. Not bad, but not top of the shelf for sure. It is spicy (decently) and sweet (maybe a bit much) with shorter but kicking alcoholic after taste. Vanilla is, for me, predominant both taste and smell followed by honey / sugary scent. A decent one for mixing with some juices or other alchohol. Regarding the alcohol level: i would say around standard. You can enjoy it directly from the glass or you can water it down with some ice. This one i prefer warmer during winter days as the heat opens up the flavour and somehow brings warmth in its taste.

Heerlijke vanille achtig me rum
Review by Timo Groeger
Not a particularly good Bacardi. For me, it has a fairly neutral nose, predominantly alcoholic. After a while it becomes sweeter, cinnamon, vanilla, honey but also ginger. The palate then tends towards spiced, but is still very sweet.

Difficult to classify this rum anywhere, but I know this profile from other spiced rums. Ginger seems to be popular at the moment, it can be found in both the nose and the finish. There is also sweet honey and a lot of creamy toffee in the mouth, possibly with strawberry. The finish is very short.

Good mixing rum
Review by Mitchell Kennedy
It smells like honey and vanilla, with a not too distinguishable spice note. Taste is a lot of honey and a little bit of vanilla and nutmeg. It's sweet and sticky with not a lot of the baking spices I would expect. Finish is medium and alcoholic.

navoněný v chuti sladší, slabší, v závěru je trošičku cítit koření do koktejlů asi super, na samostatné pití raději ne

Bacardi are releasing new rums all the time.... More bad than good however this is below average as a coke and lime drink as it has a harsh afternote

Read full review →It's much like a cup of tea or coffee when you slip with the sugar and end up with a gloopy mess in the bottom and a drink which tastes solely off sugar. This is best avoided. If you want a Spiced Rum then try Bristol, Foursquare or Pussers Spiced....
