Santiago de Cuba 500
Sipped neat, it's an elegant, oily Cuban column pour — caramel, dried fig, tobacco and light roasted oak, with just a touch of sweetness and a long finish that fades quietly. Several members are genuinely charmed by how rounded and complex it stays at only 40%. Just as many find it too light in the body, and nearly everyone flags the display bottle as the real cost driver.

#4106 Despite the fact that this rum only has 40% ABV it is remarkably complex in its profile. Well rounded and balanced with nice fruits and light roasted wood. On top of that some caramel and tobacco. Draws thick slow moving curtains and the empty glass has the most wonderful notes wit some raisins, smoke and very light honey. The bottle design is amazing to say the least 😊

07.02.2026 The Village Nürnberg
