Poorly integrated alcohol. A disappointing Bellevue for this age. Despite a nice length

This was a nice experience and I liked the light smoky note from nose to finish.The nose has ester and dried fruits and a smoky note first with trailing licorice, mint and chocolate.The palate is lightly dry and fruity with smoke, tobacco chocolate and a hint of licorice.The finish is medium long and smoky with fruit and coffee.Try this one with a few drops of water and well rested as well.

The nose is bold and seductive. Chocolate and roasted notes are present. Rather fresh and powerful. It's fruity (apple-dry fruit-tropical fruit) and has a rather intriguing ester profile. Wahooo it's great, let's get on with the tasting! On the palate, however, it's more austere and less to my taste. There's hardly any fruit left, just coffee, chocolate, burnt sugar, wood and smoke. The finish isn't long enough (for a 20-year-old) on smoky/coffee and a hint of spice. The nose was encouraging but the palate disappointing with this smoky profile. On that note, I'm going to dive back into the Nobilis selection, which suits me much better.
