Drink this one with cola rather than neat and it makes more sense: the burnt oak and tobacco stay present without taking over. Straight, it leans sweet and heavily colored, with caramel on the nose that doesn't really carry to the palate. Several tasters question whether the "15 years" is doing much, and one called it an ashtray. Hazelnut and raisin show up, but balance is the weak spot.

Свого часу куштував цей ром. Початково здивувала відносно невелика ціна, відносно заявленого віку у 15 років. А у середині нічого видатного не виявлено. Й здається, як на мене, що "15 років" не відповідає дійсності. На смак це, як якийсь дешевий ром "з нижньої полиці", густо зафарбований колером. Not recommended.

A darker color than expected, with a caramel aroma. A nice burnt oak flavor straight, with no hint of that caramel. When mixed with Coke, the burnt oak is still present, but does not overpower the drink.
