31.01.2026 Retasting this wonderful rum and this is also my last sample, should have bought more bottles back when. I still love the complexity and fruitiness and this time I pick up light peaches and some faint coconut notes in the glass. ------------ Only notes I have on this one is. Fruity with nice spices and smoke. Heavy/intense but very complex and well balanced.

Very dark and oily. In the nose wood, soy sauce, powidl (strongly cooked plum jam), burnt sugar or caramel, spicy. Very beautiful and perfectly balanced. It continues very similarly in the mouth. Full, warm, surprisingly strong despite the 46%. Very drinkable 😅 A picture-book Demerara.🇬🇾Selten.

Review by Volkmar Weber
Thick and roasty, nutty despite low ABV. A tad more perfect than the RX5213 - which was bottled a year later.
