Cockspur VSOR 12 Bajan Crafted
Twelve years of age might set you up for something big, but this Bajan is quiet by design — coconut, vanilla and molasses over a dry, nutty, spice-and-leather palate. A few tasters find the nose and palate a touch weak, but most call it round, easy and genuinely good value. One member rates it against Mount Gay XO and Rum Sixty Six.

This is a good sipping rum and in my mind it doesn't deserve to be mixed with anything. At most you can add some ice. A nicely complex rum at the price tag and not too rich.

The nose and palate is a little bit weak and the finish is medium long. It isn’t as complex as and can’t really compete with other Bajan rums with similar aging. But the quite low price makes it very price worthy and makes it a very competitive everyday rum.

Read full review →Even M&S have a very decent Bajan rum (see my review). Still I think Rum Sixty Six aside this is a cut above all of those. I can't really call between this and Rum Sixty Six. What more can I say another very nice rum!
