Interessant und ganz spezielles Profil. Konnte ich im Blind Tasting nirgends zuordnen. Eine spannende Erfahrung, trifft aber nicht so meinen Geschmack.

Nochmals gemeinsam mit dem Indonesia 2015 aus der Flensburger Rum CompanyAwakening Series verkostet. Der CDI ist im Vergleich recht dünn, sowohl an der Nase als auch am Gaumen. Keine Ecken, keine Kanten, kaum Abgang.

Also der hat meinen Geschmack nicht getroffen. Hatte in der Nase erstmal ne gehörige Portion Wein, Zitrusfrüchte sind auch sehr gut erkennbar. Am Gaumen dann sehr frisch, Zitrone und Minze dominieren hier.

Had a wonderful tasting event yesterday with only good CDI rums. This one is the fifth one of the six. This rum sets of with a wonderful nose and then transcends into a bliss on the palate despite the relative young age. A well balanced, light and sweet non pretentious rum that you can sip without adding water. The finish is a bit short compared to the average CDI rums.
