Oliver & Oliver Ron Quorhum 30 Aniversario Oporto Finish
Sip this one neat after dinner and it drinks like the standard Quorhum 30 solera with a port layer on top: vanilla, caramel and raisin on the nose, sweet round fruit and spice up front, then oak and coffee. Cítím příjemně ovocnou vůni s náznaky kávy a vanilky. Chuť je ovocná a nasládlá. Jde z ní poznat v jakém sudu rum dozrával. V chuti cítím taky náznaky kávy, švestek a dubu. Na konci příjemně hřeje.

Nicely smooth and balanced - Taste is very similar to standard QRM 30 and only in the aftertaste can you recognize the last aging in port wine casks 👍

Allzu viel merkt man nicht vom Port-Finish. Man erhält den normalen 30y Quorhum mit stärkerer Tendenz in richtung roter Frucht. Hätte mir mehr erhofft und ich denke, dass der Preis nicht gerechtfertigt ist. Dann lieber den 30y mit 50%.

The nose seems a little chemical, with banana, vanilla, raisins and wood. The palate is a little more harmonious than the nose, with vanilla predominating, figs complementing the fruit and caramel rounding things out. The finish is short, with woody caramel remaining on the palate. The port finish isn't very pronounced, but this rum doesn't reach the heights of complexity or harmony. A pity, since it probably didn't lack much.

I'd say this is the regular 30 year solera with port added to it. The nose is fruity with vanilla and caramel and a tad of fudge. The palate is sweet round with fruit and spices from the front and oak and coffee later. The Port finish is very obvious. The finish is long, sweet and oaky with the Port clear and present.
