Aroma visualization from community tastings
Arehucas 7 anos
Sip it neat on a quiet evening or, honestly, drop it into a rum and coke — that's where a few members say it shines. Expect caramel, roasted coffee, cocoa and hazelnut, all soft and lightly sweet. One taster called it "Cuban Junior," easy and smooth, with a finish that vanishes in seconds. Pleasant and easygoing, but nobody's calling it memorable.

How does Arehucas 7 anos taste?
Aggregated from 27 community reviews.
Soft, sweet, easy everyday sipper Most find it easy, sweet and pleasant — caramel, coffee, nutty. The knock is it's unremarkable with a finish that disappears fast, and greenish cask notes push some toward mixing.

An Arehucas is always a success. Pleasant in the mouth, a pleasure for an autumn afternoon with friends.

Un rhum de belle couleur, agréable en bouche, fruits gourmands et caramel discret, probablement trop doux pour certaines bouches mais assez passé-partout

Scent: Banana, salted caramel, nuts, hint of herbalism, chocolate, coffee, wood, minerality, Taste: Sweet, hazelnuts, lots of toffee, caramel, banking spices, bananas, banana bread, saltiness, dark bread crust, popcorn, oiliness, black pepper. Finish: Bananas, sweet bread, nuts, sweetness.

23.6.2025 Praha Zverinova ve vůni cítím velmi jemnounce citrusy Chuť jemná, velmi mírně medova není to nic výrazného ani výjimečného, ale na takové normální obyčejně pití, proč ne

It's a nice rum, but it's not very distinctive, it's ordinary, it's not for a bottle. A kind of Eight Islands...

Quite impressed with this one for what it is This bottle cost me €16 (which translates to prices never seen in the UK since the 80’s) and honestly? It’s basic and enjoyable actually - quite caramel-y and some roasted coffee qualities…. Almost Cuban like minus the tobacco notes - Cuban Junior if you like! The finish practically vanishes within seconds of swallowing but nothing offensive nor aggravating with this one - in other words, smooooooth! Probably makes a banging rum ‘n’ coke to be fair but as a sipper? Straight forward, sweet and enjoyable…. A movie rum if I’ve ever tasted one

Sweet and alcoholic, with an edge of sweet and honeyed aroma
