Pineapple, mango and green banana on the nose, then it turns herbal and woody on the palate — black tea, spice, a whiff of medicine and a light smoke. Most tasters call it remarkably deep and complex for just 6 years, a proper Vendome pot-still St. Lucia. The main gripe: the finish drops off and a couple wished for more punch.

Impressive St. Lucia - fruit, freshness, some wood and spice...not only in view of the release price at the time an absolutely outstanding release. From today's perspective, hardly imaginable to get this quality at such prices. Excellent.

Edit: im direkten Vergleich hatte hier der RX528 die Nase vorne. Reiht sich im Mittelfeld meiner probierten Chairman’s ein. Franconian Tasting Gang Im Vergleich zu den anderen Chairman’s reiht sich dieser im Mittelfeld ein.

Sehr fruchtig frische Nase Orangenblüten , Annas und grüne Banane etwas Vanille und Sauerkirsche. Im Mund fällt er schon deutlich ab weniger Fruchtig mehr Würze und Bitterstoffe und Florale Noten.

I have been looking for the three Haromex bottlings for a long time, I like St Lucia and the reviews make me very curious. I have now tasted them and have to conclude: delicious, but there are now much better bottlings on the market in the Chairman's Reserve Masters Selection range. This one is very much on the herbal side, with herbs, black tea etc. Interesting, but not quite my cup of tea.

an der Nase zuerst junges Holz, rauchig & würzig, dann immer fruchtiger nach Ananas, Papaya, dann geht's immer mehr in eine floral pflanzliche Richtung wie Sesam, Thymian (zataar Gewürzmischung)... spannend! Geschmacklich dann eher leicht süßlich fruchtig, in Honig gedippte mango, Ananas, dazu wieder gerösteter Sesam und Thymian (zataar) und Mandarinenschale, im Abgang dann etwas Holziger, würziger Holziger werdend richtung Schwarztee mit Pfirsich, Mango, Kräutern und Piment und Papaya. sehr schönes Beispiel vendome Style! 🇱🇨🤤 Könnte man blind auch als wird 2000 Barbados einstufen! Beeindruckende Komplexität für grade Mal 6y Alter!!

Jaa der ist schon wieder richtig gut. Sehr vanillig und würzig in der Nase, habe auch Kirsche erkannt. Am Gaumen auch sehr würzig un vanillig. Kirsche ist auch hier erkennbar. Ist ein wirklich guter Rum :)

Im Gegensatz zu den div. 50% John Dore I / 50% Vendome Abfüllungen, ist die Haromex eine reine Vendome Abfüllung, was sie wiederum auch interessant macht. An der Nase erstaunlich schwer und ‚tief‘ für die 6 Jahre im Fass. Viele Gewürze, Trockenfrüchte, Mango, Karamell und leicht medizinisch. Das setzt sich auch am Gaumen fort. Im Abgang kommt noch etwas Tabak und (fermentierter) Tee dazu Gefällt mir ausgesprochen gut!

Mit nur 6 Jahren erstaunlich ausgereift und gleichzeitig mit einer sich im Geruch erkenntlich machenden, lebhaften Jugend ausgestattet, die durchaus angenehme Fuselöle mit dezenten Noten von Benzin beisteuert. Auch medizinisch rauchige Anklänge zeigen sich neben vielen Tropenfrüchten und Kräutern. Beeindruckend komplex und lecker!

Schöne Abfüllung. Wenn die vielleicht noch paar Umdrehungen mehr gehabt hätte. Fruchtig nach Mango, Honig, Gewürze, etwas medizinisch, ganz leicht rauchig, feine Teenote. Der Abgang ist leider zu schwach. Hat mir trotzdem gut gefallen.

Wow, der ist schon eine Hausnummer! Alles was man von einem Lucia erwartet. Schöne intensive tropische, fruchtige, leicht dreckige, holzige und würzige Noten. Für das geringe Alter und den damaligen Preis absoluter Knaller.

Oh wie schön der Duft den Raum erfüllt. Es ist ein blumig-fruchtig-würziger. Da kommt aber auch gleich eine deutliche Apfelessig-Note, nicht unangenehm. Frucht geht in Richtung Banane und überreife Mandarine. Leicht Vanille und holzige Aromen. Am Gaumen dann wenig fruchtig, eher würzig holzig, fast ein salziger Anklang. Geht über in etwas leicht bitteres, wie nasse grüne Teeblätter. Aber auch leicht süß, vielleicht schwarze Johannisbeere oder grüne Mango. Im Abgang bleibt Grüntee und ja, grüne Mango. Gefällt.

In der Nase überwiegen Ester und Frucht..am Gaumen erst eine kurze Süße, die sich sofort in Schwarztee, leicht bitter und holzig werdend wandelt… der Abgang ist angenehm cremig, holzig und leicht nach Leder schmeckend! Ein recht komplexer edler Rum

Only 6 years were more than enough to produce such a nice, balanced and slightly herbal rum! Pineapple, mango and banana well mixed with black tea and a light medicine note..truly noteworthy!
