The nose is rather subtle. There's sandal wood and some tropical fruits. A cinnamon spice lingering in the background with pencil shavings. The palate is dry and peppery with big sugarcane notes. A splash of smoky, roasted black coffee. The finish is peppery, warm and medium in the length. Overall, it's a nice sipper but is too dry for my palate.

Zeer lekkere rum voor een schappelijke prijs. Ideaal voor starters die de nieuwe wereld van rum leren kennen en niet direct dure aankopen willen doen. Zachte afdronk en een geweldige fles voor een avond met de mannen door te brengen. Zoals mijn verkoper zei een 'kaartfles'

Read full review →It works better in cocktails or with tonic/lemonade which don't overwhelm the rum quite so much. All in all though it's not bad at all for the money and offers something different so credit to Berry Bros & Rudd for that. I'll be reviewing all four rums in this range...
