A nose of dried herbs, freshness, dried apricot and other fruits, and woodiness that's present but discreet. The palate is more interesting, sweet, herbaceous, slightly mentholated, floral with lemon and a light spiciness. The finish is moderately long, but all the flavors of the palate persist and gently fade away. A very fine, balanced, complex rum. It lacks the watts to challenge the best.

So langsam dachte ich mir, du musst dich mal an diese alten seltenen Schätze ran trauen. Da ich zwar kein großer Agricole Fan bin, muss ich doch gestehen, dass diese alte Abfüllung doch sehr gelungen ist. Denke mit ein paar % mehr hätte er noch besser abgeschnitten

This is one of my old tasting which I habe begun adding and most og them I don't have a lot of notes on. I do however have the flavour sheets :-)

Nice old-school agricole with that typical perfume note that I appreciate, as well as a balanced overall profile. Not at the top level in terms of intensity and complexity, but still a nice piece of history in the glass.
