Tasted this rum, from the Bellevue distillery (aka Damoiseau) situated in Guadeloupe, during a master class at Sweden (Stockholm) Rum Fest 2025. The nose is herbaceous, fruity, iodized and spicy. At the palate it’s sweet, floral and spicy. The end is medium long. Overall a little thin agricole blanc for my taste, but quite easy to drink for someone new into agricole blanc.

#6511 20.03.2026 Part one of todays evening tasting with a few friends. Today the music is a bit different because not all like my Trance and Psy Trance, so we have settled on some EDM and hits from the 80s. This one was not my kind of rum, but you also need stuff for mixing. I think this one should have had a higher ABV. The nose is light fruity with sugarcane and light grass notes. The palate is light and naturally sweet with nice herbal notes and sugarcane. The finish is medium long and dry with fruits, sugarcane and light grass.

"I would urge people starting out with agricole to really familiarise themselves with some of the cheaper "entry" level rhums out there.
