Savanna Cuvée de la Maison Blanche 2008

Pineapple and tropical fruit lead, with nutmeg, cinnamon and roasted wood underneath, and it rewards a good long airing before the roasted notes show up. Après une énorme aération il a un nez superbement complexé sur les agrumes la muscade et l’ananas. En bouche c’est léger mais très élégant sur les fruits tropicaux et l’ananas ! Beau produit

Thinking about the price you get a pretty good rum for your money. Due to the ABV you get a "light" version of a Savanna, but all the flavours are still there. You have to rest this one for a while in order to pick up the roasted notes! Elegant and fruity nose with spices and roasted wood as well as a hint of metal. The palate is well balanced between the candied fruit and roasted wood. I love the floral notes mixed with light chocolate. The finish is medium long with raisin and vanilla and in the back some light roasted notes.

Provato alla tasting con il Rhum club Paris , prodotto carino di facile beva. Perfetto come rapporto qualità prezzo soprattutto per entry level. Peccato la gradazione un po’ bassina che lo rende ai più esperti un po’ leggerino. Con qualche grado in più “forse” sarebbe stato una spanna in più!

80. Dégustation à la soirée Rhum Club Paris avec Savanna. 2 ème de la série après le 5 ans. Nez boisé fin, cire. Verre vide raisin sec, cannelle Bouche belle épice miel lourd pomme caramélisée petite astringence noix. Très facile à boire 2ème note 75. Nez parquet ciré, fruit blanc, compote coing Bouche lègere acidité, parquet rond frais orangeade. Finale courte soit le bois
