#7254 29.08.2026 Tasted at the German Rum Festival 2026. A very nice rum with an OK price tag. Intense profile but has natural sweetness to it at the same time. My quick notes from tasting. Ester, woody, roasted, overripe, fruity, polish, glue, metallic, spice.

Tasting note. Surprisingly well-integrated alcohol. Great value for money, but not really. I can only guess what this bottling is meant for, as even small amounts really pack a punch.

Volle Wucht Hampden Power, erstaunlich fruchtig, Ester und Süße in der Nase. Am Gaumen verdörtes Obst gepaart mit säure. Alkohol schon präsent aber wiedermal erstaunlich gut trinkbar. Im Abgang merkt man förmlich wie der Alkohol verdampft und das leicht pfeffrige Destillat mit einer Süße verschwindet. Nicht schlecht, aber eine ganze Flasche wäre zuviel.

Probiert 2026 auf dem German Rum Fest in Berlin. Mal wieder eine Wucht was hier abgefüllt wurde, davon brauch man nicht viel. Soll der gleiche Ausgangsstoff wie bei den Vorgängern sein. Aber wie schon bei diesen angemerkt ist der Preis mir zu teuer davon eine zuzulegen.

Krasses Teil! Ich bin immer wieder erstaunt, dass Hampden mit absurd hohem Alkoholgehalt tatsächlich noch gut trinkbar ist!
