Anyone chasing an old-blend Hampden with the funk turned down and the fruit turned up should look here. The nose reads more Guyana than Jamaica at first — pineapple, prune, sour cherry, a whiff of glue — then the palate lands as a real "Geschmacksbombe": tropical fruit, orange peel over dark chocolate, coffee, and an oily, almost creamy texture. At 64.1% the alcohol stays remarkably well integrated.

Amazing Guayana on the nose, nice 1984 Hampdennon taste. Ok - little bit more sharp

3te Flasche der Impressions Serie. In der Nase sehr fruchtig mit Ananas, Dörrpflaume, Sauerkirsche. Dabei auch etwas Klebstoff. Am Gaumen zuerst eine leichte bittere Süße nach Orangenschale mit dunkler Schokolade. Eine leichte Note von Klebstoff und Lösungsmittel. Alkohol ist gut eingebunden. Leider kommt im Abgang nichts mehr hinzu und hält auch nur mittel an.
