The Whisky Jury T.D.L The Many Faces of Rum TDL 2003 22yo
Mint — a lot of it. This 22-year Trinidad TDL is all menthol and cool mint, with yellow orchard fruit (mirabelle, litchi), a bit of tea, pepper and clear oak tannins from the long aging. At nearly 61% it's warm and dry, "charakterstark" but not perfectly balanced. One taster called it a letdown for lacking heavier notes; others loved the mint-forward power.

For me, a disappointment. A simple framework of mint and yellow fruit with some chili added. Almost no heavy notes, which for me make these profiles really interesting. Finally, despite the 60°, the aromatic intensity and length are average...
