Trying the new vieux Clairins releases from Velier. I've got to say, these older releases get better and better. I have the markers of older clairins like sugarcane and honeycomb, as well as pastry notes here. The vegetal aspect of Sajous is tamed down, so little to no olives there but there. The Caroni influence is faint as expected, although I have a gazoline feeling on the palate and the finish. Overall a very enjoyable bottling.
