Tasted twice at the Rhumfest Paris 2026. This is an intense and expressive rum with very Jamaican notes of overripe pineapple, esters, and remarkable woodiness. It's very well balanced. Also a bit dark with burnt sugar. A favorite from this event.

Wow, a great Long Pond. You can definitely notice the almost 70% ABV, but it also makes it insanely complex and never unpleasant. Great interplay of fruit and wood. Great bottling from Mika.

Goûté à l'occasion du Rhum Fest Paris 2026. Encore un rhum qui mériterait bien plus qu'un passage trop rapide en festival. Malgré le haut degré, il m'a semblé très gourmand. Fruité et boisé, de jolis esters. A re-tester dès que possible.
