Experienced funk hunters are the only crowd this cask-strength Mexican high-ester is really built for. Pineapple, glue and rubber lead the nose, with a fruit-brandy character several members compare to apple or pear schnapps rather than rum. At 71.7% it hits hard but "brennt nicht" — surprisingly well integrated. Cleanly distilled, so it lacks the dirty Jamaican edge some hoped for.

Die 71,7% merkt man doch deutlich im Mund. Trotzdem sehr lecker viel funky noten von Banane und Kleber in der Nase und im mund. Absolut nichts für Anfänger oder Fortgeschrittene das ist eher was für Erfahrene Rum genießer Ich würde ihn auf jeden fall empfehlen.

Uhh … Ich habe ihn erst pur und dann mit Waaser verdünnt probiert. Ist schon ein starker Stoff, aber irgendwie mild im Abgang. Geschmacklich im jetzigen Zustand ein Unding. Mir fehlt die Fantasie bzw. Erfahrung was aus dem Stoff mal werden kann. Ich werde mal etwas „Rummixen“ und hier und da eine süße Sherrynote einfließen lassen. Falls das alles nicht hilft, muss ich mir etwas anderes überlegen.

Super heftiges Brett, welches einen beim ersten Schluck aus den Socken haut. Ultra viel Geschmack auf kleinster Menge. Super Basis für das was noch kommen mag. Bin gespannt wie es in ein paar Jahren gereift schmeckt.
