The Whisky Jury New Yarmouth The Many Face Of Rum 2009
People already into Jamaican pot-still funk are the right crowd here. Expect glue and ester up front, ripe banana and mango, a whiff of furniture wax, plus cookie dough and marzipan. Oily on the tongue, faintly sweet from caramel, with a very long finish. Give it half an hour to breathe — the alcohol shows early and settles nicely. One taster even caught a brief eucalyptus flash.

How does The Whisky Jury New Yarmouth The Many Face Of Rum 2009 taste?
Aggregated from 29 community reviews.
Glue-and-banana Jamaican, oily and long A classic New Yarmouth 2009 with all the markers — ester, glue, tropical fruit, marzipan. Most enjoyed it; the common gripe is noticeable heat and that it isn't the most complex example.

#6637 10.04.2026 Some late evening samples that are not Dictador. Full power on Spotify with Armin van Buuren and Nishra. This is a pretty good release with a decent price tag to go with it. The nose is intense and fruity with banana, overripe fruits, light mint, glue, ester and light olive. The palate is warm and oily with light wood, mint, citrus, olive, salt, ester and spice. The finish is extremely long and warm with light roasted wood, ester, overripe fruits, mango and light mint.

Solid and tasty, that's how I'd put it, short and sweet. Typical New Yarmouth 2009... fruity, marzipan, and plenty of funk, no surprises, nothing new but tasty. In the Mai Tai, it delivers well with nice sweetness, lots of marzipan and fruit.

Intense on the nose with cookies and some (rotting) fruits. Very nice and intense New Yarmouth profile on the palate. Strong on cookie notes with some tropical fruits and vanilla. Smooth sweetness and silky mouthfeel.

#1732 27-02-2026 - Rate 8.4 The Whisky Jury New Yarmouth 2005, is a better rum to me. All the graft CDI New Yarmouth’s are also from 2005. I like that year better then 2009. There are more power in the 2005. More untamed and wild. The 2009 is a bit more subtle and smooth.

Klassischer 2009er New Yarmouth der alle typischen Marker mitbringt.
