Expect mango, peach, coconut and that signature Trinidad mint, plus light oak and caramelized sugar. Several reviewers loved the fruity, elegant sweetness, but a few wanted more of the "heavy TDL power" the older vintages carry.

Amazing, this new The Whisky Jury, with a nose of very juicy mango, rich vanilla, mint, and peach with a slight caramelized sugar. The palate is even more beautiful. An explosion of fruit and mint. Beautiful and long finish. What a punch!

Better than the last 2000 release from TWJ. Clearly more fruit and more mint. Reminds me of the 2001-2003 vintages.

Getestet mit zwei T.D.L aus 2000, dem swell und den neuen TWJ. Ja, der Familie Ricci ist ein 2003, kann hier aber definitiv nicht mit den beiden anderen mithalten, da er für mich zu alkoholisch ist. Der TWJ ist im Gegensatz zum letzten Release von ihnen schon ein wenig besser. Als Fazit bleibt, dass der Swell und TWJ, als mich für nicht unbedingt größten T.D.L Liebhaber, gleich auf sind.

🥃 TWJ – TDL 2000 – 53.2% (🔥 New Release 2026) Here, we step it up a notch. This new batch fully captures the soul of Trinidad: 💥 Explosion of yellow fruits 💥 Ultra complex palate 💥 And still that little legendary hint of Caroni casks in the background A true monster of pleasure. I definitely prefer it over the 52.8%. Result? Bottle bought immediately 😅 And I can only recommend you do the same… 😉

Had high hopes for this TDL. They are not fully met. Nice nose and taste. But I’m missing some TDL power and heavy taste. This one is a bit too light for me. I like higher ABV and more power on the tasting notes. Still a good TDL 11-03-2026 - Rate 8.5

Schöne tropische Früchte, eher weniger Minze. Sehr gut, aber nicht ganz so typisch zu den Minzbomben der 2000-2003er Jahrgänge.
