Hier habe ich einen wenig aufregenden Rum aus der Dominikanischen Republik, welcher höchstwahrscheinlich nachgesüßt wurde (ca. 16g/Liter). In der Nase habe ich leicht fruchtige Noten mit Eiche, Karamell, Rosine, Dattel, Schokolade, Vanille und getrockneter Aprikose. Am Gaumen kommt durch den zugesetzten Zucker eine klebrige Süße im Antritt. Dann habe ich fruchtige Noten, würzige und nussige Anklänge, Vanille, getrocknete Dattel, Rosine, Karamell, Eiche und Schokolade. Der kurze Abgang bietet Ahornsirup, Holz, Karamell, getrocknete Früchte, Vanille, Milchschokolade und Rosine. Sehr unspektakulär, aber gut geeignet für Beginner, die mit „richtigem Rum“ nicht viel Kontakt hatten und der Preis von 37 Euro ist auch im Rahmen.
