HoneyBatcher GmbH Bellevue Guadeloupe Rum 1998

Bitter orange, black tea and a herbal, almost medicinal edge — several tasters mention that "sticking-plaster" note over apricot jam, lime and burnt sugar. This is a 28-year-old Bellevue 1998 from Guadeloupe at 54%, and the age shows as wood and spice that stay balanced rather than drying it out. Most find the alcohol beautifully integrated for the strength.

Very nice Bellevue 98 cask. Quality is very high as can be expected for the vintage. More on the balanced and fruity side while spices and/or wood are present but not overwhelming. Excellent stuff.

#6324 06/08.02.2026 My first visit to The Village in Nuremberg and it was a very pleasant surprise. I will definitely attend again as there is more than enough rum going around. This is a very nice and well balanced rum. Light wood with some orange and plum mingling well with light mint and some rubber and olive. There is a very faint honey note in the background. Overall balance is great.

Sehr lecker

Hanse Spirit Hamburg Februar 2026.
