Nobilis T.D.L No. 53 2010
Most tasters land around the same spot: a well-balanced Trinidad column-still rum with real character, though a couple feel the 67.3% alcohol runs a touch hot and needs time to settle. Expect peach, mint and dried fruit over oak and leather, with a peppery, woody finish. Several mention it opens up nicely with air in the glass.

Fruity, minty cask-strength Trinidad sipper Well-liked TDL 2010 — fruity, minty and woody with dried fruit and leather. A few find the cask-strength ABV a little sharp until it breathes, and some question the value.

28.02.2026 Retasting at the "Nordlichter Treffen 2026". ------------ #6331 31.01.2025 Warehouse Tasting at Nobilis. This is a really nice and well balanced rum. Not as elegant as their previous 20 year old, but different in the regard that is has some nice edges to it. Nice and fruity with nice mint notes and ABV and wood are well balanced. There is a nice peach note in the profile. The price tag is pretty OK in my mind and I bought two bottles.

I’m glad I saved some in my sample for a second tasting! The first one at the end of a lineup didn’t really win me over because I found it too closed off. The rest of the sample speaks to me much more. I find some TDL profiles in the fruity/woody notes. There’s freshness, peach, and a light caramel. The price makes sense for a 70 cl bottle. It’s nice to discover a 2010 vintage.

Alkohol sehr bissig... Nase eher zurückhaltend etwas Minze Pfirsich und Aprikosen... Geschmacklich kommt da schon mehr an ... Pfirsich Aprikose Minze Karamell ... Alkohol auch hier sehr bissig und nicht gut eingebunden vielleicht einfach zu kurz im Glas.

Nice, rounded TDL 2010 with fairly well-integrated alcohol. Benefits from some time in the glass. A good rum, but in my opinion too expensive for the quality offered.

Nice technical taste, there's plenty of mint here :-)

Très bon ABV bien marqueur typique de Trinidad besoin d'une bonne aération. Je préfère tout de même le Roots 2009
