Alexandre Vingtier Rumporter (Selection Thailande) 2013
People who chase Foursquare-style Barbados rums will feel right at home here — several tasters guessed exactly that blind, then got told it's from Thailand. Big coconut, caramel and cream toffee, with a lick of fresh varnish and smoky BBQ underneath. The 54.55% shows a little hot for some, and the Pineau finish adds a touch of sweetness without taking over. A genuine surprise.

How does Alexandre Vingtier Rumporter (Selection Thailande) 2013 taste?
Aggregated from 26 community reviews.
Coconut-heavy, Foursquare-style Thai surprise A real Thailand surprise — heavy coconut, caramel and cream toffee that reminds people of Foursquare or a New Yarmouth blend. Most loved it; alcohol could be better integrated.

I can tell you that this is a truly beautiful bottle that will appeal to a very wide audience. Why? Because its woody coconut nose (worthy of a Barbados rum) draws us in like flies. The freshness and solvent residue add a touch of complexity for the more discerning palates. The palate is a mix of indulgence and menthol freshness. The alcohol is very well integrated. The finish is quite persistent with coconut wood and a sensation of freshness to finish.

Review by Skyfly

Wow, was eine tolle Überraschung.
