CoR T.D.L Trinidad Xmas 2025 Edition 2016
Sip this neat and mint is the headline — one taster calls the mint "overragende," front and center, backed by roasted wood, leather and a citrus-and-tropical-fruit edge. At 53.6% the alcohol pokes through, and a couple of people found the body thin and oily. Ends dry and tannic with bitter orange lingering. A distinct Trinidad TDL profile that leans herbal.

Minty, woody Trinidad sipper with dry finish Most land around 8/10: a herbal, minty Trinidad column rum with wood, leather and bitter orange. The catch — a few found it thin, oily and not especially complex.

I did let this rum sit in the glass for a good 20 minutes before the review. On the nose: Minty, woody and roasted notes. Mild spices, leather and dried fruits. Little bit of alcoholic on the nose. Taste: Minty notes. Oily mouthfeel. Fruity notes. Citrus notes. Thin notes. A bit alcoholic Finish: Mint notes, woody notes, roasted. Little bit of fruity notes. Quite dry finish. This rum has its moments, but perhaps too thin notes and oily for my liking.

Also dies ist auch ein sehr krasser T.D.L die Minze ist natürlich wieder überragend und hervorstechend bei diesem Rum. Ansonsten ist er noch leicht holzig, aber halt überwiegend minzig nach T D.L schmeckend.

#1719 16-01-2026 - Rate 8.6 Another TDL from The Colours of Rum. Have been very found of their 2016 releases in 2025 and Up Spirits #3 But what about this one with 10% lower ABV? It delivers. Nose of tropical fruit, mint, wood, leather and spices. Palate follows close. Long finish dominated by wood, mint and leather.

Toller komplexer Rum! Zuerst relativ rund, Richtung Foursquare, dann im Mittelteil schöne minzige Trinidad Noten. Abgang mittellang.
