Review by cigares
A light, acqueous, fruity nose (plum and overripe pear) but without esters. With a kind of roundness unusual for Jamaica and dry grass. The palate is acqueous and diluted, but the profile of the nose is also present, albeit attenuated. The finish is short and slightly bitter. A rum that must be at least 40 years old and far from uninteresting.

Ein eher flacher Rum mit dominanten Holztönen und leichter Süße. Karamell und etwas Würze blitzen kurz auf, verschwinden aber schnell wieder. Insgesamt wenig Entwicklung und kaum Spannung im Verlauf..
