Smell is mostly vanilla and coconut. Maybe a little nail polish remover, lemon balm. Pours water clear. The mouthfeel is very light, as is the finish. This is inoffensive, but there really isn't much to it. As a craft beer fan as well, I'd say stick to Trillium's wonderful IPAs. Their grasp of hops aromas seems way more polished than their ability to make rum. Maybe a slight hint of green pepper here as well. Had a glass of this at the Trillium brewery tap takeover event at Churchkey. 5.8
