Habitation Velier Rainforest 2024

The nose is the oddity everyone talks about: mushroom, earth, fermented notes, pear and peach over light wood. #5708 27.09.2025 Day one of the Whisky Live 2025, which this year looks better organized/arranged inside. A surprising well made rum from the Philippines. Nice fruits, spices and a light nutty touch along wood an caramel. There is a light licorice and faint coffee note in the profile as well as faint olives.

Un rhum dégusté au Whisky Live à Paris en 2025. Un premier nez pas très agréable de fermenté, de champignons de Paris. Puis la poire, la pêche et un boisé léger montent. La bouche est moyennement ample, fruitée mais avec une acidité marquée. La finale est assez courte, les fruits sont là, mais avec une acidité bien présente. Un rhum intéressant, bien que ayant quelques petits défauts.
