Erster Eindruck: lieblich, aromatisch Nase: leicht fruchtig, Marzipan, leicht Gaumen: hier muss man den Aromen schon ordentlich nachspüren, nichts vordergründiges Abgang: kurz und leicht Gesamteindruck: nur mit Cola, in einer namenlosen Bowle/Punch oder als Alkoholspritze für Säfte. Naja, was erwartet man für 7,99€

Eine positive Überraschung aus dem Penny Regal. Wirklich wie gemacht für Rum-Cola. An sich nichts besonderes, aber er macht definitiv einen deutlich älteren Eindruck als die Angabe von >2 Jahre vermuten lässt. Blind hätte ich ihn in die Dom-Rep verortet. Ok, this is indeed very solid. Classic notes you would expect from a moderately priced column rum: vanilla, caramel, some wood but als quite some spices and a hint of fruits are present on the nose and palate. A hint of artificial strawberries on the finish. This is not lifechaning, but pretty tastey looking at price and ABV. Obviously this will not hold up versus full proof bottlings, but that is not surprising at all.

Nichts was du nicht verpassen darfst, aber bei dem Preis, was gutes zum Mischen und auch um mal einen kleinen am Abend zu naschen. Sicher nichts für den Start in den Abend, jedoch gut für den vorgeschriebenen Abend, wenn es noch einer sein darf. Bei dem Preis Leistungs Verhältnis, kann der ruhig Platz in der Hausbar finden.

Fruchtig, leicht vanillige Nase, leichter alkoholanklang. Auf der Zunge würzig, leichte Holznoten, Alkohol ist schmeckbar- pfeffrige Note.. nicht weltbewegendes, aber hey, ich habe 7,99€ dafür gezahlt! Er schlägt damit so manches namenhaftes Produkt für mehr Geld - deutlich!.

Vom Geschmack eher in Richtung 5, was ja auch alles andere als schlecht ist. Kann ja nicht alles 8-10 sein. Für den Preis aber durchaus zu empfehlen, kommt jedenfalls besser als so manch anderer Discounter Rum in dem Segment.Deshalb 7.

Für den Preis war der unschlagbar. Leider nicht mehr verfügbar bei Penny. Typische Babados Noten mit einem Hauch von Esther. Für 38% ist der Alkohol nicht so gut eingebunden. Gut zum Mixen mit Cola geeignet. Da schlägt der Bacardi um Längen. Aber auch pur gut trinkbar.

Für 7,99€ im Angebot bei Penny jeden Cent wert. Ist nichts überragendes aber eignet sich überraschenderweise sowohl zum Pur trinken als auch für Rum Cola. Hat einen leicht chemischen Nachgeschmack im Abgang.

Keine Weltklasse aber für 8€ die Flasche hatte ich bisher nichts vergleichbar trinkbares, kann man gemütlich pur trinken, ggf einen ticken zu stark gesüßt und zu stark runterreduziert aber dadurch wurde er eben sehr trinkbar gemacht und das ist ja auch das was ein Penny möchte wenn er einen 8€ Rum ins Regal packt, da ist die Zielgruppe der Student oder partymixer, nicht der Nerd
