Curious drinkers who chase odd experiments will get the most out of this one — a Cuban molasses rum fermented open for six months, which is as unusual as it sounds. Overripe tropical fruit, pineapple and refined esters lead the nose, more "florett than broadsword" as one member put it. The palate turns spicy and hot, with allspice, pepper and young oak taking over. At 57% it's edgy.

Goûté au German Rum Festival à Berlin. Un rhum cubain avec une fermentation incroyablement longue si j’ai bien compris. On parle ici de 6 mois de fermentation ! Un nez puissant, fermenté. Pas un nez cubain, des fruits tropicaux très mûrs et des esters. La bouche est semblable au nez, un peu plus ample et alcoolique. Les fruits trop mûrs d’abord, puis des esters domestiqués. La finale est plutôt longue, avec une belle acidité et toujours les fruits tropicaux trop mûrs.

Bottle Market Bremen Dezember 2025. Los geht es mit diesem Schotman's. Fruchtige Nase, auch tropische Früchte sind erkennbar, außerdem sehr mineralisch. Am Gaumen auch sehr fruchtig, außerdem etwas Karamell und leicht alkoholisch.
